The OUTCAST Outdoor Weather Protector allows the user of an Orthopaedic plaster cast to go outdoors in foul weather and have his/her cast protected from the elements. It is made from Porelle ® high quality fabric with its special membrane which is breathable yet waterproof. This allows the user's limb to breathe, thus not overheating the cast.

The garment is lined with a strong mesh fabric which because of its insulating properties maintains the limb warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The design includes yellow contrast stitching on navy blue fabric, enhancing the products appeal.

The foot Outcast can be used in conjunction with a hospital provided sandal if the patient is allowed to walk/bear weight. The sandal is strapped over the Outcast. The product has been stylishly designed to appeal to the user as well as provide a specific practical function in the outdoors.

The Outcast comes in foot and wrist models, in different adult sizes. They have adjustment straps and a storm flap over the zip. The wrist model is designed to be fitted one handed.
