The Medifan helps soothe skin irritation whilst wearing a cast. Its purpose is to channel a cool stream of air throughout the length of the cast which soothes the irritation and helps to dry the moisture which causes it.
At only 17cm in length, it is one of the only systems on the market designed specifically for itch relief in keeping with the recommendations of healthcare professionals.
The Medifan works on the same principle as a hairdryer but has a number of design features which make it even more effective. These features include a pliable nozzle which conforms easily to the openings at either end of the cast and a low voltage power system, which makes it both portable and safe for children.
