SealSkinZ ® Cast Protectors are for use by children with leg casts.

They allow a child with, for example, a below knee cast to play on damp sand on the beach, it is waterproof up to the cuff at the top and also breathable. This allows a child to use it when outdoors, keeping the plaster clean and dry without the fear of damage to the cast.

The SealSkinz sock will stretch over the cast and can be then pulled up to well above the knee. The top is a knitted cuff which is not waterproof but dirt and dust resistant and will prevent grit etc from falling into the cast.

The unique 3 layer construction system has an abrasion resistant outer layer of nylon and lycra for extra durability. The hydrophilic internal waterproof membrane lets perspiration escape, but prevents water from coming in. A specially developed inner layer actively wicks perspiration away to increase comfort.

SealSkinz socks protectors come in 3 sizes, Small, Medium and Large, according to the age or size of the child. They are for use by children aged 3 years to 13 years.
