Modern life can feel relentless and stressful, especially during difficult times like we’ve all been experiencing over the last few months. World Meditation Day (May 21st) encourages people to celebrate across the globe, so that no matter where you are, you can take the opportunity to press pause and reboot.
In light of the ongoing situation with Coronavirus, many industry events have been postponed or even cancelled. We had a packed calendar at the start of the year, but understandably conferences, trade shows and workshops have been impacted by the pandemic – especially as so many of the attendees work with some of the most vulnerable in society. Despite this, some organisations are still creating content that attendees can access online. Apart from those children of key workers who have been going into school, most kids have spent the last little while at home. It is a challenging time for everyone, but keeping kids safe at home is just another challenge for parents who are already overstretched! It is unclear at the moment when schools will be re-opening, but we do know that half-term is due to happen at the end of the month and then the summer holidays are on the horizon!
